THE DNA INFORMATION THAT MATTERS

PITBULL DNA  By Chico Lopez

The American Pit Bull Terrier, originally called Pit Dogs in the 1700s and early 1800s, was later named the American Pit Bull Terrier. The breed was developed in America and earned its name from being forged through adversity by hand-picking only the best dogs, as measured by their performance and gameness. The name “Bull” is a nod to the old bulldog from the UK, which was used to help build the breed, while “Terrier” was used to honor the old fighting terriers from Brand that instilled the never-give-up mentality in the breed.

The development of the breed was a crucial element in its success. In the process of selecting the best fighters and smarter dogs, breeders discovered a phenomenon known as “The Connection.” They noticed that dogs who were aggressive towards people would quit under pressure, even if they won the fight. This discovery led to the development of a breed that was not only powerful but also loyal and reliable.

Breeding the best males to the best females and denying lower levels created better dogs, but the epigenetic process really made a difference. Dogs who went through hard moments of struggle and entered the pit grew closer to their owners, and their DNA changed. This created a deeper bond between the owner and dog, making them as one. The time spent alone between trainer and dog, preparing for a fight, created an unbreakable bond that transcended words. By the time they entered the pit, they were as one.

The love and care shown by owners during moments of injury and pain, as well as the time spent with their dogs as farm dogs, created a connection process that went beyond the dog combat ring. The dogs became heroes of their time, and everything around them was to be admired. Being hard was equated to being like a Pitbull, and the Pitbull mindset was one of never giving up.

These dogs inspired the children who built America and fought in the wars. The concept of underdog and top-dog came from these moments. The underdog was one who never quit, and the top-dog was earned, with no such thing as participation prizes or consolation prizes. The core of the American Pit Bull Terrier is competition, which helped build America, a young country at the time.

In conclusion, the American Pit Bull Terrier is a breed that was developed through a process of selecting only the best dogs and creating a deep connection between owner and dog. This connection went beyond the dog combat ring and created a breed that was loyal, reliable, and heroic. The Pitbull mindset of never giving up and always fighting to be the top dog helped inspire generations of Americans and helped build a country that became a global superpower.

EPIGENETICS

Have you ever heard of the term “epigenetics”? It’s a term used to describe the changes in gene expression that occur without any alteration to the underlying DNA sequence. In other words, epigenetic changes can be considered modifications to the “switches” that control which genes are turned on or off.

Epigenetic changes can be influenced by various factors, including environmental conditions, lifestyle choices, and even experiences. For example, studies have shown that traumatic experiences can lead to epigenetic changes that affect the expression of certain genes.

So, what does all of this have to do with dogs? Well, it turns out that epigenetics may play a role in the development of certain desirable traits in dogs, including athleticism, intelligence, and even temperament.

In the case of the American Pit Bull Terrier, or APBT, epigenetic changes have played a role in developing the breed’s renowned gameness and loyalty. Through careful breeding and selection, breeders were able to create dogs that were not only physically strong and agile, but also mentally tough and fiercely loyal.

This selection and breeding process have led to epigenetic changes in the dogs’ DNA that helped reinforce these desirable traits. And because epigenetic changes can be passed down from generation to generation, these traits have become even more pronounced over time.

Of course, the role of epigenetics in dog breeding is still an area of ongoing research, and much is still unknown. But as our understanding of epigenetics continues to grow, it’s possible that we may be able to unlock new ways of breeding and selecting dogs that are not only physically and mentally healthy but also possess the traits that we value most in our furry companions.

Epigenetics plays a crucial role in the development of American Pit Bull Terriers. It is a process by which the dog’s DNA is modified based on the experiences it undergoes. In the case of APBTs, this process involves the dog’s exposure to adversity and hand-picking only the best measured by performance and gameness.

As breeders sought to create better fighters and smarter dogs, they discovered the phenomenon of “the connection.” This was the realization that dogs who were aggressive towards humans would quit under pressure, even if they had won fights in the past. Breeding the best males to the best females while denying lower levels created better dogs. This, in turn, led to epigenetic changes in their DNA, making them harder and more resilient.

One of the most remarkable things about APBTs is the bond that forms between the dog and its owner. As the dog undergoes struggles and hardships, its loyalty and affection towards its handler increases exponentially. The bond between trainer and dog becomes so deep that they operate as one during fights, creating the most loyal and protective dogs.

Sadly, this level of loyalty and dedication is not found in the American Staffordshire Terrier, nor in the fake breeds like blue nose, xl, xxl, and giant. These dogs are more prone to aggression towards humans, which puts children and other family members at risk. In contrast, APBTs are known for their protective nature and will gladly lay down their lives to protect their owners and families.

It is important to note that not all dogs are created equal. Gr Ch Big Apples Haunch is an example of a dog that was aggressive towards humans at an early age. Dogs like Haunch were bitters and were used for protection work, increasing their aggression. It is important to understand that dogs like Haunch are unsuitable as family pets and should not be used for breeding.pitbull-dna

Chico Lopez is a breeder who understands the importance of selecting the right dogs for his breeding program. His dedication to his vision and uncompromising approach to breeding has resulted in the creation of some of the most exceptional APBTs in the world. His dogs are champions, great family pets, and nanny dogs.

In conclusion, the epigenetic changes that occur in APBTs due to their exposure to adversity and the selective breeding process create dogs that are more resilient, loyal, and protective than any other breed. Breeders like Chico Lopez understand the importance of this process and are committed to producing exceptional APBTs that are not only champions but also great family pets.

The American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT) is a breed of dog that has been bred for over 180 years with a focus on best-to-best breeding for elite game dogs. This has resulted in a breed that is highly adapted to its intended purpose of dog combat, with exceptional strength, tenacity, and gameness. However, as dog combat has become illegal and more socially unacceptable, the breed has evolved to be utilized for other purposes such as family pets and working dogs.

One of the subsets of the APBT is the Old Family Red Nose (OFRN), which refers to a specific line of APBTs developed by breeders who focused on preserving the original traits of the breed, GAMENESS. However, over time, the OFRN lost its original characteristics as breeders in the UKC moved away from the game side and began breeding for more aesthetically show dogs. Richard Stratton, a breeder, and writer, recognized this shift in the breed and wrote an article titled “The Modern Champion of the Old Family Red Nose, The Bagman” to address it.

It is worth noting that the American Staffordshire Terrier (AmStaff) was created by mixing APBTs with other dogs, but it is still considered a breed originating from the APBT. The AKC did not recognize the APBT as a breed, but instead created the AmStaff by mixing APBTs with other breeds such as the Bulldog and the Terrier. Despite this, the APBT remains a best-to-best breed that is always improving, with a standard that was established in 1974 by Del Bradstrom by looking at the framework of the APBT, best-to-best breeding, and the elite dogmen who have been instrumental in the breed’s development.

These Gamedogs are the best connection to a dog and the best pets

One such dogman is Earl Tudor, whose dog Ace significantly established the breed standard. Another influential dogman is Chico Lopez, who has been breeding APBTs for over 33 years and is considered a grand master breeder. In 2014, Del Bradstrom updated the breed with Global Grand Champion Siega The Great, who was bred by Chico Lopez and has the highest merits on the land. The framework of best-to-best breeding decisions made by these dogmen puts a straight line between Earl Tudor and Chico Lopez, with 4 to 6 men in between, creating a lineage that focuses on the best-to-best dog and the best-to-best real dogmen.

While the genetics of the APBT and the AmStaff may be the same, their qualities and capacities are vastly different due to the lack of great men making their magical breeding decisions and development in the AmStaff line. Therefore, it is essential not to simply label all bully breeds as the same but rather recognize that breeding for superiority and breeding proven superior dogs is essential in the growth and development of the real APBT.

“So basically, you can be the brother of Michael Jordan, and DNA will show a relationship, yet it cannot show the same ability to create basketball success or business success. That is why it is a huge mistake to chance bloodlines instead of individuals and brand levels. One thing I did as a genius when I started in the dogs, while people were looking to buy a bloodline pedigrees dog, I was looking at the entire breed and the correction of it. I wanted head and shoulders the best and only the best. I did not want relationships of friends in a dog community that would take my time. I wanted the dogs and growth. I closed my ears to the storytellers who did not have a long list of amazing merits. Storytelling was not going to add value to me, numbers were. I was chasing greatness for the breed, to be the best of all times. I had long conversations with Chico Lopez and debates on the breed with myself. By the time someone came to the same conversation, I understood they were blindsided by other men’s BS. I wanted consistency in excellence and thought of it as a miner chasing the line of gold in the model of the mountain, building that golden vein. It was needed, and I needed help. Building a team was literally impossible and would take years, so a few men would come in and out to add value, some to take value, snakes, many of them. Yet these were some chosen few that I love. The best dogs are still alive, and now they are amazing pets to great families. There will be better children that one day will say, ‘my father loved me, he got me a Chico Lopez dog.'”

IN ADDITION TO DNA-PITBULLS

It’s great to hear that you had an extensive conversation about epigenetics, DNA, and the breeding methods of Chico Lopez. Epigenetics refers to the study of changes in gene expression without any alteration in the underlying DNA sequence. A variety of factors, including environmental factors and lifestyle choices can influence these changes. In the context of breeding dogs, it is important to consider epigenetic factors when selecting breeding pairs to ensure that desirable traits are passed on to future generations.

DNA, or deoxyribonucleic acid, is the molecule that carries genetic information in all living organisms. In the case of breeding dogs, DNA testing can be used to determine the genetic makeup of a dog and to identify any potential health or behavioral issues. It is important to select breeding pairs based on their genetic makeup to ensure that offspring are healthy and have the desired physical and behavioral traits.

Chico Lopez is a breeder who understands the importance of both epigenetics and DNA testing in breeding dogs. His breeding program focuses on producing dogs with superior genetics, temperament, and athleticism. By selecting the best breeding pairs based on their DNA and considering epigenetic factors, he is able to produce exceptional dogs that excel both in the show ring and as family pets.

If you are looking for a pitbull puppy near you, it is important to consider the breeding practices of the seller. Breeders who are solely focused on making a profit may not prioritize the well-being of the puppies, which can lead to serious quality concerns in terms of their health, socialization, and training. By purchasing a puppy from Chico Lopez, you can rest assured that you are getting a high-quality purebred dog that has been bred with the utmost care and attention to detail.

Understanding the role of epigenetics and DNA in breeding dogs is crucial for ensuring the health and well-being of future generations. Chico Lopez’s breeding program is a great example of the importance of selecting breeding pairs based on their genetic makeup and considering environmental factors to produce exceptional dogs. If you are looking for a pitbull puppy near you, it is important to seek a reputable breeder who prioritizes the health and well-being of their dogs.

MORE ON Epigenetics

Epigenetics is a fascinating area of research that explores the chemical modifications that occur to genes and how they can affect gene expression without altering the DNA sequence itself. In recent years, there has been growing interest in studying epigenetics in dogs and how it may impact their health and aging.

One noteworthy study in this field, partially supported by the National Institute on Aging (NIA), compared the epigenetic changes associated with aging in dogs and humans. The researchers found that while there are similarities in the epigenetic changes that occur in both species, there are also some key differences [1]. By understanding these differences, scientists may be able to develop better treatments for age-related diseases in both dogs and humans.

Other universities have also conducted research on epigenetics in dogs, including the University of Liverpool, which has been studying the epigenetic changes that occur in dogs with osteosarcoma, a common form of bone cancer. This research has the potential to improve our understanding of the underlying causes of this disease and identify new treatment options [2].

Overall, the study of epigenetics in dogs is still a relatively new field, but it has the potential to provide valuable insights into aging, disease, and overall health in both dogs and humans. By exploring the impact of epigenetic modifications on gene expression, researchers may be able to develop better treatments and preventative measures for genetic diseases in dogs, as well as improve our understanding of how genetics and environment interact to influence health and disease.

DNA TESTING , FOR PITBULLS , APBT

A Comprehensive Guide to Understanding DNA Testing on Pitbulls

Pitbulls are a popular and beloved breed of dog known for their loyal and affectionate nature. However, there is much confusion surrounding the breed.  THe truth has been buried on purpose. The breed has been deformed on purpose.  99.99% of all so-called pitbull owners literally have mixed dogs in different levels, with or without a pedigree.  Instead, the term Pitbull is used to describe a type of dog that is often a mix of breeds, such as It is not a Pitbulll the  Staffordshire Terrier, American Bully, it is more pitbull than those dogs a Cuban singer by the name of pitbull, if you google pitbull you may find him before any dogs..

DNA TESTING is a very profitable business

Many dog owners may turn to DNA testing to determine their pet’s breed makeup, but the accuracy of these tests for Pitbulls is often called into question. This article will explore the limitations of DNA testing for Pitbulls, as well as the dangers and misinterpretations that can arise from such testing.

The problem with DNA testing for Pitbulls is that there is no specific genetic marker that can definitively identify them as a breed. While there are some genetic traits that are common among Pitbulls, like a large head and strong jaw, these traits can also be found in other breeds. Therefore, DNA tests for Pitbulls are often unreliable and can be misleading.

One way to understand the limitations of DNA testing for Pitbulls is to examine the story of the Bagman and other dogs. The Bagman was a global champion of the Old Family Red Nose, bred and trained by Chico Lopez. He was considered the modern champion of the Old Family Red Nose and a candidate to be the best dog in the world. His selection, family metrics, and pedigree were crafted by Lopez to create the perfect real Pitbull. The Bagman is not just a sample of the real breed, he is the real breed.

In contrast, the dog beneath the Bagman in a comparison photo is the first top dog show winner, with multiple victories in competitions such as wall jumping, treadmill racing, weight pulling, and obedience testing. However, the biomechanics and form of the Bagman were far superior to this show dog, highlighting the difference between a true Pitbull bred for performance and a dog bred for show.

The misconception that Pitbulls are a specific breed can lead to confusion and mislabeling in shelters. Often, dogs are labeled as Pitbulls based on appearance alone, which can further perpetuate the belief that there is a specific breed called the Pitbull. This can lead to misidentification and mislabeling of dogs, which can be harmful to their chances of adoption.

Additionally, DNA testing companies often market their services to dog owners who are unsure about their pet’s breed, which can further perpetuate the misconception that Pitbulls are a distinct breed. In reality, most dogs labeled as Pitbulls are actually mixed breeds with varying degrees of Pitbull ancestry. This can lead to confusion and mislabeling in shelters, which often label dogs as Pitbulls based on appearance alone.

One of the biggest issues with DNA testing for Pitbulls is the profit motive behind it. DNA testing companies make money by offering tests that promise to identify a dog’s breed, but in reality, these tests are often inaccurate and can be manipulated to produce desired results. Some companies have even been caught fabricating DNA test results to make a dog appear to be a certain breed.

Another problem with DNA testing is the lack of regulation and oversight. Anyone can start a DNA testing company, and there is no requirement for these companies to prove their accuracy or reliability. This means that dog owners may be spending money on a test that is not only useless but potentially harmful if it leads to misidentification or mislabeling of their pet.

The DNA companies do not have a real base to figure out what is a real pitbull, and when they had it chance they rather sell certificates to anyone..therefor today shelters who understood had mixed breed dogs, now the owner is getting certificates of dog being 100% pitbulls.  insane.

ALL FOR MONEY, FAKE INFORMATION ALL OVER

Absolutely, it’s important to address the issue of government entities offering certifications for Pitbulls without proper expertise or knowledge. In Mexico, for example, there is a governmental-associated entity that claims to be able to certify a dog as a real Pitbull through visual inspection, and offers Pitbull certificates at a cost. However, members of this government entity have never even seen a real Pitbull and lack the necessary knowledge and expertise to make accurate certifications.

This type of misinformation and mislabeling only adds to the confusion surrounding Pitbulls and perpetuates the misconception that they are a distinct breed with specific genetic markers. In reality, most dogs labeled as Pitbulls are actually mixed breeds with varying degrees of Pitbull ancestry, making it difficult to identify them as a specific breed through visual inspection or DNA testing.

It’s crucial that governments and other organizations stop perpetuating these myths and instead focus on educating the public about the realities of Pitbulls and their ancestry. This includes acknowledging that Pitbulls are not a specific breed recognized by kennel clubs, and that visual inspection or DNA testing alone cannot definitively identify them as a breed. Only through a deeper understanding of Pitbulls and their history can we begin to properly address the issues facing these dogs and their owners.

IN MEXICO, I was contacted by a Magazine called PErros pura Sangre , to write an article about the breed American Pit Bull Terrier, being the maximum authority on the topic. I agreed to do it for free at no cost.. when it came to put the dog on the cover I gave them 5 choices and I said pick up any one of those 2 of them are mines.  out the only you like all qualified to be real APBT in different areas, one was Gr ch Mayday, and one of Mines was Global gr ch Siega the great.. they said we could give you a discount and you select the dog you like..   i removed my self from the situation. when I saw the cover, I seen they sold the spot to a dog I had rejected months ago at a dog show from a breeder of mutts labeled as real pitbulls.    That is how it works all over the world at all levels.

The creator of the breed stood quiet and planned very little for the future. Today in a historical way , as a am elite real dogman I stand up for the truth and I want you to learn the truth..  everyone has a level in the breed. compare all of them vs me, and pick the winner!

The real Pitbull is not the merle Pitbull, nor is it the blue or any other fake variety that has become popular in recent years. These “designer” breeds are often bred for their unique coat colors and patterns, rather than for their temperament or working ability. In reality, the true Pitbull is in danger of extinction due to misconceptions and mislabeling. Governments and organizations that claim to certify dogs as Pitbulls based on visual inspection often lack expertise and perpetuate the problem. Additionally, DNA testing for Pitbulls is often unreliable and can lead to confusion and misidentification. It’s important to educate ourselves and others on the true nature of the Pitbull breed and work towards preserving and protecting them.

FINDING A REPUTABLE BREEDER?

When it comes to finding a breeder to purchase a Pitbull from, many people might assume that a reputable breeder is the best choice. However, there is a difference between a reputable breeder and an elite level branded breeder creator.

A reputable breeder is someone who breeds dogs with the goal of improving the breed and who takes steps to ensure the health and well-being of their dogs. They may have a limited number of dogs and breed them selectively, with the aim of producing healthy and well-tempered puppies.

On the other hand, an elite level branded breeder creator is someone who has a well-established brand and reputation for producing some of the best dogs in the breed. These breeders have a deep understanding of genetics and are constantly working to improve their lines, often going to great lengths to acquire dogs with the best pedigrees and bloodlines.

While both types of breeders may produce healthy dogs, the difference lies in the level of dedication and expertise. An elite level branded breeder creator will likely have a much more in-depth knowledge of the breed, and their dogs will be a result of years of careful planning and selective breeding.

It’s important to note that finding an elite-level branded breeder creator can be a challenge, and may come at a higher cost than purchasing from a reputable breeder. However, for those serious about owning an exceptional Pitbull, the investment may be worth it.

While reputable breeders can produce healthy and well-tempered dogs, those seeking the best should consider an elite-level branded breeder creator. These breeders are true experts in the breed and have dedicated their lives to producing dogs of exceptional quality.

HOW BAD IS THE LEVEL OF IGNORANCE?

The brand and source of the real APBT is the elite dogman breeder Chico Lopez, who is widely recognized as one of the greatest dogmen of all time. Chico Lopez has dedicated his life to breeding the perfect APBT, and his dogs have achieved legendary status in the dog fighting world.

Chico Lopez’s dogs, like the Bagman mentioned earlier, are the result of years of careful breeding and selection based on traits like athleticism, intelligence, and loyalty. These dogs are not just a mix of various breeds, but rather a unique and distinct type of dog that embodies the true spirit of the APBT.

DNA testing may show a relationship between a dog and the APBT breed, but it cannot account for the quality and traits that define a true APBT. Only a dog bred by a reputable and experienced dogman like Chico Lopez can truly be considered a real APBT.

It’s important to note that the practice of dog fighting is illegal in most parts of the world, and Chico Lopez himself does not condone or promote the activity. However, his dedication to breeding the perfect APBT has created some of the most incredible dogs in the breed’s history.

While DNA testing can provide insight into a dog’s breed makeup and relationship to the APBT, it cannot replace the expertise and dedication of an elite dogman like Chico Lopez in creating the true APBT. It’s important to recognize and respect the legacy of these legendary breeders and their dogs rather than relying solely on DNA testing or misguided notions of what constitutes a true APBT.

PET OWNERS NEED TO STOP BREEDING THEIR PETS.

Chico Lopez, a legendary dog breeder and promoter of the American Pit Bull Terrier (APBT), has long been critical of the kennel clubs and other organizations that he views as being more interested in profit than in the preservation of the breed. According to Lopez, these organizations are staffed by people who are more interested in desk work than in the actual breeding and promotion of dogs.

Lopez has often spoken out against the greed and commercialization of the dog breeding industry, arguing that it has led to the deterioration of many breeds, including the APBT. In his view, the focus on pedigree and paperwork has led breeders to prioritize appearance over function and temperament, resulting in dogs that are less healthy and less capable than their predecessors.

For Lopez, the real source of the APBT is the elite group of breeders who have dedicated their lives to the preservation and improvement of the breed. These breeders, many of whom have worked with Lopez over the years, are the ones who have created and maintained the bloodlines that have produced some of the greatest dogs in the history of the breed.

In contrast to the kennel clubs and other organizations that are focused on profits, these breeders are committed to the betterment of the breed, and are willing to invest the time, money, and effort required to produce truly exceptional dogs. For Lopez, it is these breeders, not the desk jockeys of the kennel clubs, who are the true guardians of the APBT, and who will ensure that the breed continues to thrive for generations to come.

In short, Chico Lopez believes that the key to the preservation and promotion of the APBT is the dedication and expertise of the elite breeders who have devoted their lives to the breed, and not the bureaucratic machinations of the kennel clubs and other organizations that are more interested in profit than in the dogs themselves.
